Since the end of XIX century there were key figures who not only anticipated performative behaviour typical of contemporary society, but also massmedial attitudes on identitary multiplication that find in photography the best media to express themself. The Countess of Castiglione and Lady Gaga represent the apogee of the research that mix public and private, and real and imaginary body.
